Born in New York, Viktor Király spent his childhood and early teenage years in the United States, where he developed a deep love for soul, R&B, gospel, and pop music.
When his mother became seriously ill, her wish was to return to her homeland of Hungary to be close to family. The move changed Viktor’s life forever. Thankfully, she recovered, and Viktor went on to build one of Hungary’s most successful music careers.
Even as his career flourished in Europe, his connection to his American roots never faded. That journey eventually led him back to the U.S. stage on NBC’s The Voice, where he earned a four-chair turn with Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On.” He first joined Team Adam Levine and later became part of Team Gwen Stefani.
Today, Viktor’s music brings both worlds together—combining the soul and R&B that shaped him in America with the experiences and artistry he developed in Europe. His latest single, Sorry Not Sorry, represents that full-circle journey.
